Delta opens new Sky Club concept at JFK

**The new Sky Club café concept at JFK is another step in Delta*s efforts to enhance the customer experience in New York in the air and on the ground and become New York*s preferred airline,** said Gail Grimmett, Delta*s senior vice president — New York. **The new dining offerings are a direct response to member requests for more substantial meal options in our Clubs, and we*re confident the new full-service cafés we*ve developed with OTG will offer a truly superior customer experience.**

The new cafes, developed exclusively for Delta and operated by airport restaurateur OTG Management, include dedicated seating areas within Delta*s award-winning Sky Clubs where customers can enjoy made-to-order breakfast options, sandwiches, salads, small plates and desserts for purchase. The cafés also offer an extensive wine and beer selection, along with premium liquors. In addition to dining at the café, Sky Club members also can order from the menu and dine anywhere in the Club. Delta Sky Clubs continue to offer members complimentary snacks and beverages.

The JFK Sky Clubs are located in Terminal 3 near Gate 11 and the Duty Free shop,adjacent to Gate 12 and on the 4th floor across from Gate 6; as well as in Terminal 2 on the Mezzanine Level, near Gate 23.

Delta continues to make substantial investments in the New York market, including recently announced plans, along with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and JFK International Air Terminal LLC, to enhance and expand Terminal 4 at JFK. Delta also is reinventing the customer dining experience at New York*s LaGuardia Airport, in partnership with OTG Management, with the introduction of 13 new food and beverage concepts from some of New York City*s top chefs Delta Sky Clubs offers members and their guests complimentary beverages, snacks and Wi-Fi, as well as personalized flight assistance, satellite TV and computer workstation access. Sky Club membership provides access to 50 airport Club locations worldwide and was named best airport lounge by readers of Executive Traveler and by Business Traveler magazines four years in a row and Global Traveler magazine for the past two years.

Delta Revitalizing Boeing 747-400 Fleet with New Interiors

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today unveiled plans for the complete revitalization of its fleet of Boeing 747-400 aircraft flying primarily from the Tokyo-Narita hub. Between summer 2011 and 2012, Delta will equip each of its 16 747-400s with new fully horizontal flat-bed seats in the BusinessElite cabin and new Economy class seats featuring personal, on-demand entertainment, increased personal space and added under-seat storage.

The investments are the latest in Delta*s previously announced plan to invest more than $1 billion in enhanced global products and services through 2013. When complete, Delta will offer full flat-bed seats on more than 100 trans-oceanic aircraft, including all Boeing 777s, 767s and 747s, and will feature personal, in-seat entertainment for both BusinessElite and Economy class customers on all widebody flights.

**The multimillion dollar investment we are making to completely revitalize our trans-oceanic fleet speaks to our strong commitment to the Asian market,** Delta President Ed Bastian said in a press briefing here today. **While we have solidly positioned ourselves as the leading U.S. carrier across the Pacific in terms of flights and destinations, we are now taking steps to enhance the products and services offered across our Asian-Pacific network to position Delta as a leader in in-flight service.**

BusinessElite enhancements

The 747 upgrades will bring substantial changes to both decks of the aircraft*s BusinessElite cabin. The new, custom-designed product will feature 48 horizontal flat-bed seats with direct aisle access at each seat. Window seats will face the window for improved privacy and center seats will be angled toward each other for the convenience of customers traveling together.

Delta Air Lines to Connect New York, Iceland

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today announced new nonstop service between New York and Reykjavik, Iceland, beginning June 1, 2011.* When service begins, Delta will be the only U.S. carrier to serve Iceland nonstop from the United States.

The flight, between John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, will be operated with a 170-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 15 seats in BusinessElite and 155 seats in Economy.

The flight will also operate direct from Delta*s hub in Minneapolis-St. Paul under the same flight number, with a stop at New York-JFK.

Delta*s newest international destination from New York is part of its ongoing investment in the New York market, adding to the more than 40 new destinations introduced from LaGuardia and JFK combined in the last four years.

In recent months, Delta has added new or expanded service between New York and Amsterdam, Netherlands; Brussels, Belgium; London-Heathrow and Manchester, England; Shannon, Ireland; Stockholm, Sweden; and Copenhagen, Denmark. Delta also has announced new domestic service from New York, including new and expanded service to Nashville, Tenn.; St. Louis; Kansas City, Mo.; San Antonio; Cleveland; Charlotte, N.C.; Orange County, Calif.; Baltimore; Montreal and Toronto.

The new service does not affect Delta*s previously announced capacity guidance for 2011.

**Our new flight to Iceland is another milestone in our efforts to be the leading domestic and international carrier in New York,** said Gail Grimmett, Delta*s senior vice president – New York. **We have always prided ourselves in offering a large number of unique destinations from our JFK hub to provide customers convenient access to growing but underserved global markets.

The addition of Reykjavik also marks the first service in Iceland for SkyTeam, the leading global airline alliance that includes Delta, Air France-KLM, Alitalia and nine other airlines.**

The new Reykjavik flight will be operated as part of Delta*s trans-Atlantic joint venture with Air France-KLM and Alitalia, which gives customers access to a seamless network of connections in North America and the European Union.
