Cutting the Costs with Discount Travel Packages

Do you want to save some money on vacation prices? It is always nice if you can keep some extra cash in your pocket for spending when you are on vacation. That means you get to do the things you want and not have to count change the entire time that you are gone. With the right guidelines, you can save your money and spend your money on your own terms. Many people look to travel agents for travel packages, but is that really necessary?

Use EscapeWizard.com

You can actually go to Escapewizard.com and look at the vacation discounts that are available by doing such things as combining your flight and a car rental or combining your flight with your hotel. You can even combine all three if you need to purchase airline tickets, a rental car, and a hotel. What happens when you combine your necessities in this way is you paying less money for them than having to pay for them one at a time.

So when you visit a travel site, make sure you look at the screen carefully, the screen will ask you if you need additional services such as a rental car and hotel. If you do, be honest and check the boxes. By checking those boxes, you are putting together a travel package for yourself. That travel package allows one or more of the items you need to be discounted.

Still not a believer?

If you still dont see how a travel package is the best way to go, look at this scenario:

Your roundtrip plane tickets are $500, your hotel is $1,000 for a week, and your rental car is $300 for the week. Youre looking at a total cost of $1800 just for transportation and lodging.
Bundle these things together into a travel package and the divided costs could look more like this: $500 for your plane ticket, $800 for your hotel, and $200 for your rental car. That means youre going to pay $1500. That is a $300 savings that puts more money in your pocket.

How do you get all of this? You get this because you are staying at a hotel or dealing with a rental car company that has a partnership with the airline. They more or less look at each other and say, We will do this for you if you do this for us. In other words, they are telling each other that they will acquire business for one another if they enter into this partnership.

So hopefully you are now a believer and will always check the option to add your hotel and your rental car to your airline ticket order. Dont think that it is a waste of time because you have to answer some questions. Saving a few hundred dollars is never a waste of time, so take advantage of it.
