Save Time and Money with United's Premier Baggage Option

United Airlines today announced the launch of Premier Baggage, the latest addition to the Travel Options by United portfolio, enabling customers to pay one flat price and check two standard bags at no additional cost every time they fly on a United or United Express operated flight in a year*.

Customers can purchase a subscription for an introductory price of $249, entitling them to check two standard bags on United and United Express operated flights domestically and internationally, where applicable, rather than paying to check bags each trip.

The annual subscription also covers the standard checked baggage charge for up to eight companions traveling under the same confirmation number as the subscriber. Mileage Plus Premier® members are exempt from first and second bag fees on standard bags.

Premier Baggage pays for itself after just a few trips for an individual and possibly after a single trip for a family. The Premier Baggage subscription, available at united.com/premierbaggage, can also be purchased as a gift.

*The Premier Baggage subscription gives customers the ability to travel with a streamlined check-in process and additional convenience,* says Jeff Foland, senior vice president of worldwide sales & distribution. *Whether you*re taking your family on a dream vacation, or just wishing to pack an extra set of clothes for comfort, Premier Baggage enables you to have everything you need at your side to help fully enjoy your travels.*

With the addition of the Premier Baggage subscription, Travel Options by United expands to a 13 product portfolio aimed at providing United customers with the opportunity to customize their travel experience. Travel Options also includes products like Economy Plus, Premier Line, and Red Carpet Club which offer comfortable and convenient travel alternatives

*The purchase of a Premier Baggage subscription does not waive fees that would ordinarily be assessed for oversized and overweight bags, and does not cover the cost of checking bags beyond two standard bags
