Route 100 finishes at Alexanderplatz, Berlin’s famous square.  During the Communist years, Alexanderplatz was at the heart of East Berlin, but it is now a pleasant place to hear music and see some public art.  On November 4th, 1989, shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall, public demonstrations here were aired worldwide. Near Alexanderplatz, enjoy dinner in the revolving restaurant at the top of the TV Tower, Germany’s tallest structure.
